Plead The Fifth - Season 7 Drop and Mini Interview

Perth based brand Plead the Fifth (@pleadthe5) recently dropped their Season 7 range.

Last night we had a quick chat with the guys behind the brand and got some insights into the world of Plead the Fifth.

Hey guys! Thanks for catching up, Plead the Fifth has been around for some time now but for those who may not know, let’s start with the basics, where are you guys based and what is Plead the Fifth?

Hey man, we are based in Perth city, and I guess you could call it a skate brand or something, we make videos. We don’t take ourselves too seriously ;)

You guys just dropped your season 7 collection, looks like you’ve pulled inspiration for the drop from a number of different themes, what’s this season all about and how’d it all come together?

Ahaha the inspirations for a lot of our designs can spawn from friends saying dumb shit, like the Scarborough Bobsled Team (home suburb) which came from a weekend bender where the boys tried to source a bobsled from gumtree for the olympics.

The smiley idea came from sketches I’d draw on receipt paper at work. The makeshift tee idea came from a dress up party when someone pinned a photo to their shirt, we thought that could work screen printed. We’ll take inspiration from anything, and this season, like all our seasons is just pure Plead The Fifth chaos, everything came together at 666kmph
